Oleg Maximov

My second sea-going contract took place aboard Queen Victoria with Cunard in April–May 2023.

During this contract, I worked as a Guitarist in the ship’s Queens Room Orchestra — the resident ballroom orchestra performing in the iconic Queens Room, one of Cunard’s most historic and recognizable venues, traditionally dedicated to ballroom dancing.

My work included performing daily ballroom dance sets as part of the orchestra, accompanying dancers and guests in a wide variety of traditional dance styles, and contributing to the musical atmosphere of one of the most unique entertainment spaces at sea.
