Oleg Maximov — professional guitarist, composer, arranger, and music transcription specialist with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. In 2025, I graduated from the Prins Claus Conservatorium (Groningen, The Netherlands) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz, majoring in Jazz Guitar.

With a career spanning 20 years, i've toured with my own quartet in russia, internationally as a cruise ship performer for Royal Caribbean, Cunard, P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises.

My experience spans ensembles of all sizes, from intimate duos to full big bands, giving me a deep insight into the dynamics of small-group interaction and the complexity of large-scale arrangements.

I work across a wide range of styles, including jazz, funk, rock, fusion, pop, and classical music.

Throughout my studies and career, I have been mentored by leading international musicians, including JD Walter, Frank Wingold, Gilad Hekselman, Mike Moreno, Freddie Bryant, Sheryl Bailey, Sasha Mashin, Boris Kozlov, Conrad Herwig, Joris tepee, igor boiko and many others.

Alongside performing, I lead a small group of music learners in Groningen known as “Groningen Guitar LAB”.

My professional work includes composition, arranging, transcription, and engraving, which I have carried out for clients worldwide on a commission basis. A notable highlight was engraving the score for the Off-Broadway musical “Café Berlin”, premiered in New York City on May 3rd, 2026.
